300 ppi Resolution

300 ppi (pixels per inch) is the printing standard used in the professional world. This is accomplished using a process called resampling, which is where you resize an image by reducing or increasing its number of pixels. An image can also be resized for printing without resampling and altering its physical structure.

 

 

72 ppi Resolution

72 ppi (pixels per inch) is the website standard for digital media. This resolution takes up less file size and is used when you have a limited amount of space for your media.
